About the filmmaker:

Suman Ghosh completed his PhD at Cornell in Economics in 2002 and while at Cornell he took filmmaking classes with Marilyn Rivchin in the Dept. of Theatre, Film & Dance. He has made a documentary about Amartya Sen, the Indian Nobel Prize Winner for Economics in 1998 and the feature film, Footsteps, which premiered at the Vancouver International Film Festival in 2006.
