Come celebrate Cornell Cinema and the end of classes at the Rock the Cinema Ball, featuring powerhouse Ithaca-based musical acts (with national and cinematic connections) Jennie Stearns, Johnny Dowd, The Atomic Forces, Mary Lorson and Candy Pants. Some of these artful and articulate performers have starred in films shown at the cinema, some have made films shown at the cinema, all of them love the cinema and are happy to perform at this benefit show. In addition to the music, there’ll be short films between acts, raffles, door prizes, cinema pass giveaways, wacky projections and other surprises. Dress in your favorite holiday duds and come enjoy a fabulous evening of celebration and music, supporting Cornell Cinema, Ithaca’s year-round film festival! Special thanks to Park Doing. Cash bar and free popcorn!
