Samuel L. Jackson stars in the most weirdly hyped, and most literally titled, film of 2006. When the mob wants to off a potential stooge, they pack a plane with, yup, you guessed it, snakes of every variety possible. After the internet made this a cause celeb, the studio ordered reshoots to up the violence and language and add a little B-movie nudity to give it credibility. If you're looking for high drama, look elsewhere. If you're looking for some motherf'ing snakes on a motherf'ing plane, look no further!
On November 3, Snakes screenwriter and Cornell grad John Heffernan '96 (who used to write blurbs for Cornell Cinema!) will be at the screening and will talk about the film and the hype!
