The Muppet Movie

directed by James Frawley

with Kermit, Miss Piggy Fozzy the Bear and the whole gang

When an agent who looks suspiciously like Dom Delouise happens across Kermit singing "The Rainbow Connection," he convinces the frog to head to Hollywood and find his true calling. Along the way, he meets up with Fozzy the Bear, Miss Piggy and the rest of the Muppet gang, all the while chased by a crazy fast food chain owner who wants Kermit to be the spokesman for his (gulp!) deep fried frogs legs. With writing as smart, songs as wonderful ("Movin' Right Along," anyone?) and characters as rich as this, The Muppet Movie is truly a film for all ages. 35mm
